Is It Cool To Procrastinate Now
I heard T.I.’s new album was pushed back yesterday, and stared blankly at the screen. I was not excited his new album release but its become expected for rap albums to NOT come out on time.
Kanye is allegedly coming out in November now. Jeezy wasted the summer away looking for a single, and is still looking according to some circles. Soulja Boy found a single but can’t put a album out.
It is a known fact that rap albums won’t sell like they once did. That is how times have evolved, but this has delaying things has gotten ridiculous. And now I see it as a disease throughout the entire culture.
Independent rappers say they are going to drop a single, and it never comes out.
Vloggers say they will drop a video daily and suddenly stop.
Those are minor examples, and I know I am guilty as well of procrastination, but now I’m taking a vow to stop.
And I’m only supporting those who stop as well.
So, if you say you’re going to do something, do it. Your word is ALL you got
